Emotional Freedom Technique

Join us in this powerful self-healing practice, also called "tapping": an integrative and holistic tool that draws from acupuncture and the Chinese meridian system, neuro-linguistic programming, energy medicine, and Thought Therapy. EFT is an intuitive tool to rebalance the nervous, mental and emotional systems in times of high stress. You will be able to identify challenging feelings/sensations, work through acceptance and finally reframe your mindset in a positive way.  We will also touch on some acupressure points to lower anxiety and boosting the immune system!

The Weekly Mindshift Interactive Discussion

Join Co-Founders of Peace Inside Live, Shira Lazar and Jordana Reim for this interactive community discussion on a mind-shifting topic of the week. We discuss ways to look at issues we are facing so that we can move forward powerfully together. Past topics have included: "Why am I afraid to be alone?" and "Should I take a mindful break from dating?"

Meridian Movement

Both mental and physical health depend upon movement, circulation, and flow. Just as in nature, where a stagnant pond is putrid while a flowing river is clean and healthy, our bodies need a smooth flow of Qi and blood to maintain balance and health. In this class, you will learn simple Qi Gong and Yogic exercises so to regulate, energize, balance and nourish both mind and body.

Mindfulness for Productivity

Use mindfulness to be more productive, focused and manage your energy. Different practices and techniques are shared each week to help you balance your desire to achieve with peace and ease. Q&A after to help deal with any current situations!

True Self Care

Humans are created with everything we need to take care of ourselves! Together we will practice energy healing and emotional intelligence tools that release powerful hormones and support us in improving & regulating our moods, staying motivated, relieving pain and reducing stress.

Breathwork & Sound Healing

Breathwork meditation is a means to reset. Using a healing-charged playlist followed by the soothing live sounds of Himalayan Chakra Singing Bowls, you’ll transcend through music and breath into the hands of your inner healer.

 

We implement a focused breath through the mouth that disciplines the overactive brain, clearing toxic energy and thought patterns. The practice often aids in releasing unnecessary judgements, fears and expectations while opening the door to creativity and joy. This practice often releases endorphins similar to a "runner's high."

Heart-Centered Meditation

Occurring on our most powerful day of the week for the heart chakra, we leverage this energy to open ourselves to love, peace and self-care. Meditation themes include compassion, self-love and healing visualizations. Practice will leave you feeling nurtured and calm. There will be time during class for discussion and questions.

Health Matters with Nurse Nikki

There are trillions of chemical reactions happening inside our bodies at any given moment, how do we know what to pay attention to? In this class, Nurse Nikki will help us tune into and understand the signals our bodies give, what they could mean, and how to get to the root of an issue. Whether its fatigue, aches and pains, skin eruptions or a bloated belly, learn to bring yourself back into balance from the inside. Right now, more than ever, your health matters.

THURSDAY

Kundalini Yoga

This practice combines mantra with movement and breath and while challenging, is suitable for beginners. Each class is focused on a different physical or mental benefit and the “kriyas” or cleansing actions of movement, breath and mantra will support this intention.

7:30 PM - 8:30PM

Buddhist Psychology Meditation

Each week we look at a teaching of the Buddha and relate it to our modern day lives. We incorporate a dharma talk and relatable story with the opportunity for questions related to the teaching. We bring the teaching into our meditation practice to explore our own points of view as it relates to what we are learning. Focus on breath awareness, personal inquiry and analyzing what is true in our own practice and minds.

FRIDAY

9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

Morning Yin

Yin yoga is a gentle moving meditation practice that improves energy flow and enhances chi in the internal organs. The poses stimulate and remove blockages in the myofascial meridians in the body, leading to greater balance in all our systems. Perfect for the overstimulated mind that needs restoration, It is recommended you do this practice with blankets, pillows (or bolsters) and a strap (or scarf) to aid in the yumminess of our posture holds.

Special Workshop

Every week we feature a new expert on a particular subject for a 90 minute community class. From cultivating a resilient mind to ways to naturally cleanse the body, all workshops begin from the inside to make small changes long-lasting. 

7:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Somatic Movement & Meditation

You will be guided through one hour of gentle breathing exercises and body-mindful practices. The somatic meditation will include self-reflection to identify, name and get familiar with sensations in the body and release any block or tension, as well journaling prompts, and some acupressure. We will end with yin-style breath-led movement.
